ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Did you know today is "National Lasagna Day"?

Originally the word "lasagna" referred to the pot in which the dish was cooked, rather that the food itself. Lasagna dates all the way back to 14th century England.

Cody Long from the Old Towne Spice Shoppe in St. Charles is here to show you an easy twist on this old classic.

Ingredients:

Bread - use bread `bowls` for individual or `Italian Loaf` for family size.
