ST. PETERS, MO (KTVI) - A shopper fights to get her stolen purse back and gets caught in the suspect's car door. Police released the video, seeking help to find the bandit.

Shoppers in St. Peters are on edge.  But, about 30 minutes ago, St. Peters Police confirmed both the suspects, Tyler Gutan, 24 and Dominique Stephenson, 22, are in custody.

Security cameras at the Costco roll as a 29-year-old woman unloads her cart behind that tree. Little does she notice the man in the white shirt lurking to the right, watching her every move. A black car backing up on the left side of the screen, with the passenger side door open. Once it gets close enough the man in the white snatches the woman's purse. When the woman runs after the guy she gets stuck in the suspect's car door and dragged along.

It happened Thursday at around 6:45pm. Shoppers are watching their backs.

"I actually found myself, when I was leaving, looking around a little bit more than what I would normally do. Be aware of my surroundings a little bit more." said Jennifer Manes.

"You look around, you're supposed to look at your surroundings." said Gail Muth.

Police had composite sketch made of one of the suspects. But he has since turned himself in.

"There must be some really desperate people out there who try something like that in broad daylight." said Tracy Strothcamp.

Police say the woman was able to get her purse back. She was treated in a hospital for minor injuries.

Bond has been set at $35,000 for each man.
