LAGRANGE, GA (KTVI) – A Facebook post by a Georgia housing authority official opened some eyeballs last week as four teenagers came looking for jobs – not for money, but to avoid the trappings of gang culture.

Zsa Zsa Heard posted that four young boy came to her office July 27 asking about work. When she asked the boys, ages 13 and 14, why they wanted jobs, the boys said they wanted to stay out of trouble.

The boys had said gang members kept approaching them and they needed a place to go.
