BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, MO (KTVI) - The daughter of two beauty shop employees critically shot during an robbery in Bellefontaine Neighbors is speaking out about the shooting that nearly robbed her of her parents.

"Physically, mentally, financially... Everything is different" she said.  "I have to come to the hospital everyday because my parents are in bad shape, and they're getting worse" she said.

Bellefontaine Neighbors police say a 13-year-old girl robbed the Kings Beauty Shop on July 19, shooting the elderly couple who were working in the store at that time.

"She took everything from me, for some money and some packets of hair. It's very hard, very hard".

The girl turned herself into police after the shooting, but the daughter and current owner of the store says her age should not overshadow what happened.

"I have two kids who are younger than 13" she said.  "They know right from wrong.  She should have known that too" she said.

The daughter says both of her parents are ICU.

The family has set-up a gofundme page for those wishing to help her parents.
