ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Beginning next week, work crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close both ramps on the west side of Grand over Interstate 44 for the next two weeks.

In addition to the eastbound and westbound ramps, crews will close Detonty at Spring and Lafayette so they can start rebuilding the connection between the new Grand bridge and the ramps.

MoDOT will close the west side down on Tuesday, August 9 at 9 a.m., weather permitting.

Traffic on Grand will still move in both directions, however; two lanes will be open in each direction on the Grand overpass.

Drivers interested in navigating around the road closure should use Grand, Chouteau, and Jefferson.
