ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Heavy rains over the past several days have left many low lying areas near St. Louis underwater. We’ve seen everything from kayakers in Granite City Streets to water rescues in DeSoto, Missouri. The rain has closed many area roads and cut power to schools. Several Brentwood area schools let students out early.
The flash flooding should subside but the water will be high for the next few days. Heavy rain is in the forecast until Tuesday.
