High pressure lets go today and allows a cool front to work in from the west/northwest…but it will take its time…two main features on the way…a cool front cutting in Friday night and Saturday…periods of rain and storms…thinking severe weather will be close but mainly southeast MO and southern IL. Behind the front…here comes the first real shot of or hint of Fall…cooler and drier air takes over Sunday, Monday and Tuesday…drier air the key!.
