ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- "You're never too old to feel young!"

Gay Herron, President of Solefit LLC joined us on FOX 2 News in the Morning to discuss the Essentrics ® exercise program.

She gained her Essentrics Certification in 2014, started classes in Eureka and is now expanding to new locations!

According to Gay, the Essentrics program is steadily growing across the United States. It was developed by Miranda Esmonde-White, a one-time member of the Royal Canadian Ballet.

After an injury, Esmonde-White turned to the fitness industry. However, none of the traditional exercise programs produced the long, lean muscles of the ballet dancer. So she set about developing a gentle, kinder program that would do just that!

The classes are held on Tuesdays between 1 and 2 p.m. at Silver Lining in Town and Country.
