(KTVI) - The St. Louis County Police Department is now reviewing a 2013 case involving the death of Pam Hupp`s mother.

Hupp was originally set for a court date Wednesday, in the murder charge she faces for Louis Gumpenberger`s death.  It was continued until next month, but now St. Louis County is reviewing a case involving the 2013 death of Hupp`s mother.

Pam Hupp`s Mom died right before the first trial in the Betsy Faria murder case.  Hupp was a key witness in that case.  She was the last person to report seeing Betsy before she died and she benefitted from $150,000 in life insurance proceeds.

A Lincoln County Sgt. prepared her for the fact that she`d be questioned in Faria`s death.  Hupp answered that she had no reason to kill, because she would get half a million dollars after her 77-year-old mom died.  Her mom, Shirley Neumann, fell from a third floor balcony four months later.  St. Louis County Police ruled the death an accident in 2014.

The case is not re-classified, but officers are asking for information from the public during its review.
