CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) - Police say a man has been taken into custody for his part in a fatal summer shooting outside a St. Louis barber shop. Investigators say they arrested a 25 year old man this morning who they believe played some a role in the fatal shooting.
The fatal shooting happened on July 29th at around 11pm outside Headliner's Barber Shop located in the 9800 block of Monarch drive in Moline Acres. That's where authorities found 24-year old Patrick Kinnard from St. Louis city shot multiple times. Kinnard was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
St. Louis County Police say the investigation revealed a 25-year old Hazelwood man was connected to the fatal shooting. Now, two months later, that man is in police custody.
St. Louis County Police say the prosecutor's office is reviewing the case to determine if charges will be filed or if the case will be taken under advisement.
The man's name is not being released until charges are filed.
