ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Saint Louis University School of Nursing receives a $2.1 million dollar grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration for scholarships for financially challenged students. The funds will be used to pay tuition for twenty nursing students.

The goal is to help boost the number of nurses to provide critical care to patients in rural and underrepresented communities. SLU nursing school is one of two in the state to receive the money.
