ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A delivery truck struck a wooden construction platform under the overpass on Lambert International Boulevard at around noon Wednesday. The area is essentially the entrance to terminal one arrivals from I-70 east.

No one was hurt. The platform is made of wood and sits within inches of the underside of the bridge to catch debris from concrete work being done on the top side of the bridge.

The old height posting have been covered over and there are several signs posting the revised height of 10’6.” The truck driver apparently did not see the sign or ignored it.

No word how soon the mess will be cleared. As you’ll see in the video, a good deal of wood collapsed onto the front windshield and hood of the truck.
