(KTVI) – One of the two inmates that escaped from the Pulaski County jail over the weekend has been captured.  Authorities say James Sherrell was found Monday at a home in a rural part of the Pulaski County.

The second escapee Dustin Richardson is still on the run.

He and Sherrell requested a medical check and officials say that is when they stole the jailer`s keys and ran away.

Both men met up with Marlee Davy who drove off with the men.

During a high speed pursuit, authorities say that Davy tried to hurt an officer chasing the trio; but the sheriff’s deputy vehicle blew a tire allowing Davy and the escapees to get away.

Separately, a jailer in Pulaski County was charged with having a sexual relationship with Dustin Richardson.  An investigation is underway to see if 22-year-old Angelica Black had a part in Sherrell and Richardson’s escape.
