Athletico offers training tips to prevent running injuries

ST. PETERS, MO (KTVI) – It’s the season of marathons, and runners are lacing up all across the bi-state. So what are the tricks to staying healthy on the run?

Brian Harthill, Facility Manager of St. Peters Athletico Physical Therapy, joins FOX 2 to discuss common injuries associated with marathon training.  He demonstrates different warm up and cool down exercises that runners can do to prevent injury.

Brian is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist and has also received certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment as well as Y-Balance Test and ASTYM in Performance Dynamics.
