‘Missing and Endangered’ alert issued for 13-year-old Fairview Heights girl

Napoleon Bacon, 20, and Christine Sanders, 13

Update:  Christine Sanders, 13, has been found safe.  She is back at home with her mom.

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL (KTVI) – Police have issued a missing and endangered alert for a 13-year-old girl from Fairview Heights. Christine Sanders may be with a 20-year-old homeless man. Napoleon Bacon he is a friend of the family.

The two were spotted at Grace Church in Fairview Heights at around 11:30am asking for money. Police say they are on foot with no known access to a vehicle.

Sanders is described as 5’04 tall, 110 lbs, wearing grey sweatpants and a grey jacket. Bacon is 6’00 tall, 180 lbs, wearing black pants and shirt. She lives in the 400 block of Joseph Drive.

The Fairview Heights Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Sanders or Bacon, if either is sited please contact the FHPD at (618) 489-2100.
