Skeletal remains found behind church in North St. Louis County

NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis County Police are investigating an area in North St. Louis County, where skeletal remains were discovered by lawn care workers.  The workers discovered the remains around 5 pm Wednesday evening near a tree line behind a church.

The Lutheran Church of the Living Christ is located on Concord and New Halls Ferry Road in unincorporated county near Florissant.

The Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is handling the investigation.

No identification of the body has been made pending an autopsy scheduled for Thursday.
