ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The Missouri Botanical Garden’s beloved Butterfly House has undergone one scary renovation this October in order to highlight the Garden’s creepiest and crawliest. The so-called BOOterfly House will temporarily remove their focus off of their butterflies and instead feature Insectarium’s collection of spooky species such as cockroaches and tarantulas.
Among these frightening attractions, the Butterfly House will host the annual BOOterfly Ball this Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd.
Families can enjoy Halloween-themed food, games, and crafts, as they learn about the many different species of bug that currently call the Missouri Botanical Garden home.
Jennifer Mullix and Leslie Casel of the Butterfly House Visitor Services stopped by FOX 2 this morning to discuss the ins and outs of this month-long event.
