ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The 25th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival kicks off with a special screening of St. Louis Brews.
The acclaimed director Bill Streeter presents St. Louis Brews, inspired by the 2009 book of the same title. Through interviews, archival footage, memorabilia, and visits to brewing sites of yesterday and today, the film will show the audience how much of an impact St. Louis has made on the beer industry and inspire them to keep that tradition going.
A variety of local craft brews will also be available at a reception prior to the screening.
Artistic director of Cinema St. Louis, Chris Clark discussed some of the 420 films in the film festival from over 72 countries. The festival kicks off Nov. 3rd and will continue through Nov. 19th.
