Police searching for driver of SUV involved in fatal West Florissant crash

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the vehicle used in a fatal accident on November 10th. They say someone driving a large SUV struck a 1999 Toyota Corolla on West Florissant near Robin. The Corolla veered into eastbound lanes and was struck by a GMC Sonoma pickup truck. The driver of the Corolla, Willie Wilson, 87, died as a result of the crash.

The photos in this article are of the vehicle that fled the scene. It appears to be a light tan Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon. There is a unique sticker on the rear window of the vehicle.

The 40-year-old driver of the 1999 GMC Sonoma pickup truck that hit the Carolla was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
