LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Is there such a thing as a movie star anymore? St. Louis Post-Dispatch film critic Calvin Wilson says yes.  While much of the appeal of “Iron Man,” “Deadpool,m” and “Doctor Strange” can be attributed to their action sequences, would those films really have been as good without the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Ryan Reynolds and Benedict Cumberbatch in leading roles?

A plethora of new movies are coming out for the holiday season, and in them we’ll see many star faces, including Denzel Washington (“Fences”) and Brad Pitt (“Allied”).
