ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The feel of the holiday season blew into the area Friday with gusty winds and colder temperatures. We will see the look of Christmas season as well at Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville where they just flipped the big switch. Crews have been working around the clock since september to build "The Way Of Lights." It includes nearly 2 million bulbs.

Come out to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows through the holidays and drive through this 1.5 mile long path of beautiful Christmas lights and life-sized biblical statues. They tell the original Christmas story.

The "Way of Lights" is free to public, although they do accept donations. In addition to lights, there is a lot more here including the Children's Village, a Lego maze, souvenir photos and the tree room. The theme this year is "Trees of Honor." The trees are designed by all branches of the armed services.
