DENVER, CO (KTVI) – Fox 2 traveled to outside of Denver Colorado to meet with Hazelwood police officer Craig Tudor and his wife Christine. They've been at the world renown therapy hospital for spinal cord injuries for 8 weeks. In a strange and tragic twist of fate, another St. Louis police officer Mike Flamion was already at the same hospital when Tudor arrived. The Ballwin officer was also paralyzed on the job, but his injury was caused by a suspect shooting him during a traffic stop. The Flamion’s have encouraged the Tudor family as they embarked on the painful therapy and muscle building that would become part of their daily routine. Craig Tudor can still use his shoulder and upper biceps but will forever be in a wheelchair. They are surrounded by therapists teaching Tudor how to live his new life and do all the things he's always loved to do just in a different manner. The Tudors will probably be at Craig Hospital for another couple of months. They appreciate all of the cards, well wishes and donations made to them as they adapt their home and lifestyle.
