ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – BMO Harris Bank gets preliminary approval to renovate its Southwest Bank property in the Reber place historic district. The renovation plan would demolish sections of Southwest Bank and replace it with a Walgreens and parking spaces.

The $10 million project will renovate other buildings on the 2300 block of South Kingshighway. The bank says it’s worked with residents who voiced concerns about preserving the historic look of the block and says it modernizes the neighborhood without losing its character.
