Dave Murray’s weather disco…Friday…December 2, 2016
.
A quiet and chilly to cold day over the STL area…in the 40’s again and dealing with a very dry atmosphere…chapped lip and static shock time…already! Saturday will start with some sun…but it is a day of increasing clouds…but a dry day…in the 40’s…Saturday night we get kicked by a back of moisture coming out of the southwest…with a mix of light rain, sleet and wet snow late, late Saturday night into Sunday morning…n big deal…but should see our first flakes…this system will fight the very dry air mass…so any moisture will be limited. Quiet Sunday afternoon and Monday…then the next system comes at us from the southwest…no cold air link…its all rain Monday night…well above freezing…near 50 on Tuesday…then a rush of very cold air rolls our way on Wednesday and Thursday…there will be another surge of moisture with this…mainly rain…but on the backside with the wind and dropping temps we could see some snow. We will be dealing with a very active and fast weather pattern now into the middle of the month…fingers crossed snow bunnies.
