Man struck by MetroLink train in Central West End

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Police are investigating after a man was struck by a westbound MetroLink train in the Central West End. It happened shortly before noon at the stop located on Euclid Avenue and Children's Place.

The victim was conscious and breathing while be taken to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

According to Metro, trains have resumed operation between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Grand MetroLink Stations on a single track. MetroLink Station Shuttles are cancelled and are no longer transporting passengers by bus between these stations.

Passengers may experience delays of up to 30 minutes at this time.
