Arctic cold, snow possible, in this week’s forecast

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A cold start Monday morning, but today is still on track to be the warmest of the week. That tells you something.

There will be rain on the way late Monday into night early Tuesday morning. Then comes the cold. Temperatures will be dropping Tuesday afternoon. The real big cold, coldest so far, arrives Wednesday and Wednesday night.

There may be light snow in the forecast late Wednesday and Wednesday night. Not much, the air will be too cold and dry.

Heating systems get a workout this week. If you have not already, unhook your hoses and get them inside.
