Anders Lee’s third period goal gave the Islanders the go ahead goal in their 3-2 victory over the Blues on Thursday night in Brooklyn, NY.

The Blues had battled back from a 2-1 deficit on a 2nd period goal by Kyle Brodziak. The Islanders had scored two straight goals in the first period in a 2:40 span to take a 2-1 lead. Robby Fabbri opened the scoring at 4:36 of the first period with his sixth goal of the season.

The loss drops the Blues season road record to 3-7-1, a stark contract to their 12-1-3 home record.

The Blues continue their four game road trip tomorrow night in New Jersey when they face the Devils.
