Pet of the Week – Scarlet

Scarlet

Scarlet

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Scarlet is a two-year-old terrier mix who came to the Metro East Humane Society from animal control.

This sweet girl does have some scarring over her muzzle and front limbs, most likely due to an attack of some sort. She is healed and up-to-date on shots; she’s also spayed.

The MEHS conducted some tests and has come to the conclusion that Scarlet is deaf. But that doesn’t stop her from stealing hearts at the shelter. She is going to need a special home that will work with her disability and in return she will give all the kisses you can handle.

If you’d like to adopt Scarlet or see any of the other available pets for adoption, please contact or visit the MEHS. Adult cats are only $25 the month of December!
