NEW YORK_ A Solar Eclipse is a rare phenomenon. The last one viewed in the Unites States in 1979.
On August 21, the United States will experience a Total Solar Eclipse, the first one to race across the entire United States in 99 years.
A Total Solar Eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, fully blocking the sun from view.
Commercial/ landscape photographer, Ken Sklute and photojournalist, Dave Henry joined us live from New York to explain.
