United States to experience Total Solar Eclipse Aug. 21

NEW YORK_  A Solar Eclipse is a rare phenomenon. The last one viewed in the Unites States in 1979.

On August 21, the United States will experience a Total Solar Eclipse, the first one to race across the entire United States in 99 years.

A Total Solar Eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, fully blocking the sun from view.
