Maplewood police investigating 7-Eleven robbed twice in 6-months

MAPLEWOOD, MO – For the second time in six months a Maplewood 7- Eleven was robbed at gun point and both times customers walked in during the hold up.

Maplewood Police Department Detective Dave Brown said on July 7th around 11:55 pm, a male suspect walked into the 7-Eleven and immediately pointed a gun at the clerk and told her to start emptying out the cash registers.

Brown said while she was doing that another victim walked into the store. The suspect walks over and tells him to give him whatever money he has or he will shoot him in the head.

In the surveillance video, you can see the victim show the suspect his empty wallet. Then the suspect finishes getting the register money from the clerk.

He is wearing a black Adidas jacket and baggy blue jean shorts with a hole or fade on the right rear pocket.

The suspect’ face is only half covered and Maplewood police are asking the public to take a look at the surveillance video.

They are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call the Maplewood Police Department or their confidential line at 314-781-3733.
