ST. LOUIS, Mo. _Halloween has turned into one of America's favorite holidays. The Food Network is celebrating this year with a baking championship and a local baker is one of the stars of the show!
Tyler Davis is the Pastry Chef at Element Restaurant, a chef a Brennan`s Purveyor`s Table and he has an online dessert bakery called, Alchemy Artisan Bakery.
He joined us in the FOX 2 kitchen to talk about his upcoming competition.
The Halloween Baking Championship is set to premiere Monday, September 25 at 8 p.m.

Recipe | Halloween chocolate bark:
8 oz chocolate almond bark
6 oz white chocolate almond bark
1/2 c toasted pumpkin seeds
1/2 c dried cranberry
1 tblspoon of crystallized ginger
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1/2 c almonds
1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
Melt chocolates in desperate in the microwave. (30 sec intervals until chocolate is melted)
Pour dark chocolate on a sheet on parchment paper. Drizzle white chocolate on top and design as you see fit. Next, sprinkle ingredients on top of chocolate evenly. Set chocolate bark in fridge to set. About 10 mins. Break apart and enjoy.
