14-year-old killed in north St. Louis shooting

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis city police officers said a 14-year-old was shot and killed in north St. Louis. Police say it happened in a home near Page and Euclid Avenue.

The teen was transported to the hospital for treatment but later died from his wounds. Neighbors said the teen rode a bike home from school before being shot. Fox 2 cameras captured police removing a lime bike from the scene and putting it into an evidence van.

People who live on the block said the teen has lived on the block for years and was loved by many.

St. Louis city homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
