The “National Memorial Day Concert” brings recognition to men and women in uniform

ST. LOUIS - It's a 29 year tradition that continues on the 150th anniversary of Memorial Day. Sunday night, a star studded event honoring our nation's heroes, the "National Memorial Day Concert" airs live from the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol on sunday, may 27, 2018, the night before Memorial Day.   This year's guests include General Colin Powell, Allison Janney, Mary McCormack, Brian Tee, Charles Esten, Cynthia Erivo, Leona Lewis, Megan Hilty and Alfie Boe along with the national symphony orchestra.

The concert will be hosted by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award-winner Gary Sinise.
