    Funeral services held for Collinsville teen killed at school

    COLLINSVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Funeral services were held Monday for Collinsville teenager Tray Turner. The Collinsville High School freshman died last Thursday when he fell off a second story bannister. Investigators say it was an accident. During Friday night’s football game at the school $1,300 was raised for Turner’s family. Funeral services took place this morning, followed by the burial at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.

Kahok Strong is leading a drive to collect get well cards, gift cards, gas cards and cash donations for the student and his family. The organization will also collect money at the football game Friday night with the money helping school families in need.
