    ST. LOUIS – Around 20 veterans take their lives each day from PTSD. An organization known as Pets For Patriots aims to help veterans and pets by connecting them with each other. Army veteran Christopher Whitaker was here at FOX 2 to discuss how his dog Lady, helped him in his retirement. To accompany them was Humane Society representative Anne McLaughlin.

LOUIS – Jeni Birr,  a 5-year cancer survivor, and Rebecca Chocolatl,  a 13-year cancer survivor, visited Fox 2 News at 11 to discuss what their lives were like when being diagnosed with cancer and to promote the sixth annual Head For The Cure 5k Run & Walk.     ST. LOUIS – Jane Smith, director of life crisis services for Provident, visited Fox 2 News at 11 to discuss the characteristics of suicidal women and how they aren’t what some people may expect.
