Chris Regnier

Chris Regnier joined FOX 2 News as a general assignment reporter in January 2001. He previously reported at KFOX-TV in El Paso. He reported from Kuwait during Operation Desert Fox, from Oklahoma City during the deadly tornadoes, and from New Mexico when wildfires were destroying parts of the state.

Chris also spent time in radio, hosting and producing a medical news talk show on KELP in El Paso.

Before that, Chris was a weekend anchor/reporter/producer at KAUZ-TV in Wichita Falls, Texas and he began his career as a morning anchor/reporter/producer at KVTV in Laredo, Texas.

Chris received his Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of California in San Diego.

He's been a part of news reports that have won such awards as the Edward R. Murrow Award, Emmy Awards and Associated Press Awards in Texas as well as New Mexico.
