  • Missouri Botanical Garden hosts Orchid Nights

  • Missouri state representative to join students in gun violence protest

    ST. LOUIS, MO — Missouri State Representative Stacy Newman plans to stand with students from Clayton and Parkway Central High School Friday. They are demanding action on gun violence. Students and the elected officials will be outside Clayton high school at 11am Friday and at Parkway Central at 4pm.

  • Man cut during attempted robbery in north St. Louis

    ST. LOUIS, MO — A man suffered a cut to his arm during an attempted robbery in north St. Louis at around 12:30am Friday. The victim was walking on Goodfellow Boulevard at Selber Court when another man tried to rob him. They fought and the victim was cut. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The attacker got away.

  • Instant Pot is under fire for melting products

    ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Instant Pot is one of the hottest cooking gadgets on the market now, but they may be too hot to handle. The gadgets are overheating and melting at the bottom. The problem affects the “Instant Pot, gem 65, 8-in-1 multicooker.” Instant Pot believes the issue affects the devices with the following batch codes: 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734 and 1746. These codes are located on the silver label on the underside of the product.

  • Postal employees charged with delay and stealing from mail

    BELLEVILLE, IL — A federal grand jury has returned two indictments of area postal workers. One Belleville worker is charged with failing to deliver thousands of items of mail. A Godfrey postal employee is charged with stealing mail for herself. Belleville postal worker, Briana N. Burrage, 22, is charged with unlawful delay of United States Mail.   • Former reporter Betsey Bruce honored by the St. Louis Press Club

    Two former Fox-2 reporters were honored Wednesday night by the St. Louis Press Club. Betsey Bruce is among the 2018 media persons of the year.  She retired in 2017 after 45 years, making her the longest-serving television journalist in St. Louis history. Also, among the honorees, the late John Auble, who spent 23 years of his career as a Fox-2 anchor and reporter.   • Missouri considering renaming St. Louis highway for fallen officer

    ST. LOUIS, MO — The Missouri house transportation committee considers a bill to honor St. Louis County Officer Blake Snyder. The measure would rename part of highway 30 in St. Louis County as the Officer Blake Snyder Memorial Highway. The 33-year old officer was killed in the line of duty in October of 2016. St. Louis County has already renamed Clydesdale Park in memory of officer Snyder.
