February 1stis the first deadline for talks about whether the Rams stay in St. Louis or leave town.

The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission is set to give the team its first proposal to update the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams lease says if the dome isn't among the NFL's top facilities, then the team can leave town after the 2014 season.

The CVC has taken an early hard line in the talks telling the Rams last Friday that the team's plan to play one home game a year for three years in London violates the team's lease.

The Rams have one month to either accept the proposal or submit their own counter-offer.
