St. Louis police are investigating an accident where a car slammed into the Fox Theatre Box Office. Around 2:00 a.m. police say two SUVs collided at Washington and Grand in midtown St. Louis. The crash sent one of the cars into the box office building, breaking the window.

People in one SUV told police several people in the other SUV jumped into another vehicle and sped off, but left behind an injured woman who was found about a block away.

The Fox Theatre says a window in the Fox Box office was damaged when the vehicle struck the adjacent Humboldt Building on Grand Boulevard.

No one was in either building at the time and both have been cleared of any structural damage.

The Fox Box office is a storefront building next to the Fox Theatre.  The window is being repaired and the box office opened at its usual 10:00 am time.

The Fox Theatre sustained no damage.

The next show at the Fox is the Broadway hit “Rock of Ages” which will bring the greatest music of the ‘80s to the theatre for four performances this Friday through Sunday.
