A Kirkwood woman is sprucing up the St. Louis Museum of Transportation and all she needs is her paintbrush and creativity.

Jane Saunders loves to paint murals and she’s making her mark at the Transportation Museum in Kirkwood with the stroke of a brush

Inside of the new visitor’s center, the walls are coming to life.

Muralist Jane Saunders puts the finishing touches on her latest project called 'Transportation Through The Seasons.'

It’s her third piece at the museum inside of the creation station. She works without sketching.

The 30 foot tall mural will take about a month to finish in a space where kids are welcome to play, create and dream.

The Transportation Museum says more than 337,000 people have been to their creation stations since it opened in 2000. And more will be able to explore the world of transportation from a new point of view.

The creation station mural will be ready by the opening of the new visitor’s center that date set for February 29th.
