Officer Calls For Help in Suspect Arrest

An Uplands Park, Mo officer had to call for help when a suspect starting fighting back early Tuesday morning. It happened around 2:15 a.m. when the officer stopped at a convenience store on Natural Bridge Road to question a suspect involved in some type of disturbance.

That conversation turned into an altercation. The officer hit his radio emergency button, calling for help. Several nearby police departments responded and were able to take the suspect into custody.

The officer was not injured.
