This is so easy, you can make a few batches and then bring some to your holiday gatherings. Everybody loves it!!

Microwave Peanut Brittle


1 cup sugar
1/2 cup raw peanuts
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla


In a large microwave safe bowl add sugar, peanuts, and Karo syrup. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Remove and stir. Microwave 3 minutes. Remove and add butter and stir. Microwave 2 minutes. Remove and add baking soda and vanilla and stir. Pour onto greased cookie sheet and spread with a spoon until thin. Cool peanut brittle and break into pieces.
