Blues Beat Jets in Shootout

David Perron scored one goal in regulation and one in a shootout to lead the Blues to a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday afternoon in Canada. Jaroslav Halak stopped 39 of 41 shots plus two more in the shootout. The Blues were out shot in the game 41-16, but still managed to steal the win. The Blues win coupled with another Detroit loss moves St. Louis just two points back of the first place Red Wings in the Central Division

David Backes scored the other Blues goal in the game, his 18th of the season. The Blues will play game three of their current six game road trip on Monday night when they play the Flames in Calgary.
