Cardinals Lose Spring Debut

The Cardinals dropped their Grapefruit League opener against the Miami Marlins 4-3 on Monday.  Kyle Lohse started for the Redbirds and pitched two innings.  Lohse only gave up one hit, which was a solo homer by the Marlins Greg Dobbs.  Tyler Greene started at second base and went 1-3 with a double.  David Freese, Rafael Furcal, and Lance Berkman all got the day off.  Carlos Beltran made his Cardinal debut going 0-3 as the designated hitter.  The Cardinals travel to Port St. Lucie to face the Mets on Tuesday.
