Mizzou, Billikens, Illini prepare for post season Conference tournaments

Second round NCAA tournament action tips off Friday afternoon at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

The three local college basketball teams are currently preparing for the conference’s post season tournaments. For Mizzou, they begin play in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City on Thursday, March 8th as the number two seed. The Tigers will face the winner of the Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech game that will be played on Wednesday. The Missouri game will tip off at 6:00 PM on Thursday and will be televised live on KPLR-TV.

For the Billikens, they are the number two seed in the Atlantic 10 Tournament in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They begin tournament play on Friday against the winner of La Salle vs. Richmond game that will be played on Tuesday. The SLU game on Friday begins at 5:30 PM.

The Illini tip off at the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, March 8th. Illinois the ninth seed in the tournament plays number eight seed Iowa. Game time is set for 10:30 AM.
