MANCHESTER, MO (KTVI) - Manchester police are searching for thieves after two smash & grab break-ins at a strip mall.  It happened at the Stone Gate Center just off Big Bend near Highway 141.

Investigators say it happened between 3:00 and 3:40 a.m. The criminals hit the Glory Cleaners and Hollywood Tan stores. In both cases, they threw rocks through the glass front doors and made off with just a little bit of cash. All together, police say the crooks only got about $55.

The owner of the Hollywood Tan store says she's been hit by thieves several times in recent years. Police say they did have some burglary problems at the strip mall a few years ago and did make arrests.  So far there are no suspects in these cases.
