WENTZVILLE, MO (KTVI)– Wentzville will begin doing away with its red light cameras.

The Board of Aldermen voted to phase out the cameras when the city’s contract with Redflex Traffic Systems expires.

The city’s police chief recommended renewal and the mayor moved to table the discussion.

The town has two red light camera intersections.
