When a parent battles cancer, their children have special emotional needs that may get overlooked. They are often left to deal with these feelings on their own. Now a special camp run by college students hopes to bring these kids the simple joys of childhood. It’s called Camp Kesem.

The University of Missouri camp will be held August 5-10, 2012 and a camp run by the University of Illinois will be held August 5-11. Visit the Camp Kesem website for more information or to make a donation.
