Man Charged With Arson In O’Fallon, MO Home Fire

Firefighters battled a large house fire in O’Fallon, Missouri Sunday morning. The blaze destroyed the home on Abington Drive, not far from Mexico Road and Knaust. Fire crews rushed to the home after receiving the 7:30am call to put out the blaze.

According to O’Fallon Police, the cause of the fire is not believed to be accidental and a suspect has been taken into custody.  A couple and two grown children lived in the home. They were not hurt. According to police, the fire may have stemmed from domestic troubles in the home.

Two firefighters were injured battling the fire. They fell through a floor and were taken to the hospital. They were not seriously hurt and have been released.
