Sanford, FL (CNN) - Police in Florida played the 911 calls for Trayvon Martin's family. He's the teenager shot and killed by a neighborhood watch captain last month as he was returning to the home where he was staying.

George Zimmerman has not been charged and says he shot the boy in self defense after calling police about a suspicious person in the neighborhood.  Martin's family says they feel betrayed by the police.

"I am so very hurt by this whole situation.  It's a nightmare.  And I don't understand why this man has not been arrested, at least charged, and let a judge and jury decide if he's guilty.  Thank you."

The state attorney general will decide if Zimmerman should be charged or if the case goes to a grand jury.
